NRA Home Firearms Safety Training — $60.00

4-hour non-shooting NRA course. Students should bring a highlighter, pen, Pencil, and paper for note-taking.

This is a great class for anyone who has acquired their FIRST firearm. We will teach you how to safely load & unload firearms. We will teach you the different parts of a firearm and how to clean a firearm. You will learn the skills, knowledge and attitude to be confident in your responsibility as a firearm owner.

This is safe gun handling that is conducted in the classroom. Students are taught NRA’s three rules for safe gun handling; primary causes of firearm accidents; firearm parts; how to unload certain action types; ammunition components; cleaning; care; safe storage of firearms in the home; and the benefits of becoming an active participant in the shooting sports.

NO AMMUNITION IS ALLOWED IN THE CLASSROOM.

Students will receive The NRA Basics of Home Firearms Safety Textbook along with other training materials.

NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting — $175.00

8 Hour NRA Course. Minimum 200 Round Count of Factory New Ammunition *No Reloads or Steel Core*. Students should bring a highlighter, Pen, Pencil and paper for note taking. Your Pistol & Manual.

The NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting is intended for all individuals regardless of previous shooting experience. This is the traditional, instructor-led course where you will receive direct instruction from an NRA-certified instructor from beginning to end.

Course topics include: gun safety rules, proper operation of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols, ammunition knowledge and selection, pistol selection and storage, shooting fundamentals, pistol inspection and maintenance, marksmanship, and shooting range safety. Additionally, students will complete live fire training and a nationally standardized shooting qualification while on the range with an NRA Certified Instructor.

NRA Personal Protection In The Home — $225.00

This NRA course teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to the safe and efficient use of a handgun for protection of self and family, and provide information on the law-abiding individual’s right to self-defense. Students will learn basic defensive shooting skills, strategies for home safety and responding to a violent confrontation, firearms and the law, how to choose a handgun for self-defense, and continued opportunities for skill development.

In order to participate in this NRA course you must be an experienced shooter able to show mastery of the basic skills of safe gun handling, shooting a group, zeroing the firearm, and cleaning the firearm. Proof of shooting experience can be one of the following: an NRA Basic Pistol Course Certificate, NRA FIRST Steps Course Certificate, NRA pistol competitive shooting qualification card, military DD 214 with pistol qualification, law enforcement credentials or passing the Pre-Course Assessment.

NRA Personal Protection Outside The Home — $275.00

14 Hour NRA Course — Level 1 (9 hours) & Level 2 (5 hours) This Class is given over two days. Minimum 300 Round Count of Factory New Ammunition *No Reloads or Steel Core*. Students should bring a highlighter, Pen, Pencil and paper for note taking. Your Pistol & manual, 2 extra magazines or speed loaders, Gun Belt, Strong Side Holster & mag pouches, small flashlight and a cover garment.

This NRA course requires students to have already mastered safe gun handling and basic marksmanship skills prior to attending this course. This course is not a basic shooting course, and requires advanced shooting skills.

This NRA course introduces students to the knowledge, skills, and attitude involved in safely, responsibly and effectively employing a concealed pistol for self-defense. This is an intensive course, as the student must learn and practice many diverse shooting skills in order to respond quickly and appropriately to the broad range of threats he or she may encounter outside the home.

Participants in this NRA course must know and observe not only general gun safety rules, but also those safety principles that are specific to defensive situations. Prospective participants can demonstrate that they have the requisite knowledge, skills, and attitudes by producing an NRA Basic Personal Protection In The Home Course Certificate, or by passing the pre-course evaluation given by the instructor.

This NRA course is for adult individuals who are not disqualified from possessing a firearm as defined by applicable federal, state, or local law, and are of good repute.

NRA Defensive Pistol Shooting — $175.00

This is the perfect course for CCW holders or those who are considering getting their CCW. 10-hour NRA Course. *Must have completed and passed NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Course prior to taking this course*. Minimum 200 Round Count of Factory New Ammunition *No Reloads or Steel Core*. Students should bring a highlighter, Pen, Pencil and paper for note taking. Your Pistol & manual, 2 extra magazines or speed loaders, Gun Belt, Strong Side Holster, mag pouches, and a cover garment.

The Defensive Pistol NRA course will focus on the techniques needed to develop a defensive mindset. The goal of the course will be to develop the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to carry and use a concealed pistol ethically & responsibly for personal protection.

As a result of participating in this NRA course, the student will be able to explain and demonstrate the following: how to apply the NRA Rules for Safe Gun Handling when carrying a concealed firearm. The importance of carrying and using a pistol responsibly and ethically for personal protection. Basic principles of concealment. How to present the pistol — reholster. Mental preparation to develop a defensive mindset for carrying and using a pistol for personal protection.

Techniques for avoiding life-threatening confrontations. Psychological and physiological changes that may occur during an attack. Flash sight picture. Reload under stress. Clear common stoppages — immediate action drills. Present a pistol from concealment and reholster. Cover & concealment. Present a pistol from concealment and reholster. Present a pistol from concealment and shoot targets at carrying distances. How to move off the line of attack & shoot.

This NRA course teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude for the safe and proper use of a shotgun in shooting a moving target.

This NRA course includes classroom and range time learning how to shoot shotguns at moving targets. Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; shotgun parts and operation; shotgun shell components; shotgun shell malfunctions; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting at straight away and angled targets; cleaning; and continued opportunities for skill development.

NRA Range Safety Officers should be experienced shooters, involved in many aspects of target shooting, training and range supervision. The NRA encourages active shooters to learn more and become responsible for the safety of fellow shooters through this program.

Included In This NRA Course Are The Role of the NRA Range Safety Officer. Range Standard Operating Procedures. How to complete a Range Inspection, Range Rules, & giving a Range Safety Briefing. You will also learn Emergency Procedures, Firearm Stoppages and Malfunctions.

NRA Metallic Cartridge Reloading — $175.00

8-hour NRA Course. Students should bring a highlighter, Pen, Pencil, and paper for note taking.

The NRA Basic Metallic Cartridge Reloading Course exposes students to the fundamentals of metallic cartridge reloading. The course is designed to enable shooters with little or no prior experience in reloading to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitude to produce safe, consistent and accurate reloaded ammunition. You will learn basic reloading procedures; info about choosing powders, primers, and bullets; different types of reloading equipment and proper set-up and operation.

No firearms are allowed in the classroom! There are NO EXCEPTIONS for LEO or CCW. This policy is strictly enforced.

Students will receive the NRA Guide to Reloading Textbook along with handouts. Eye protection will be provided.

USCCA Emergency Fundamentals; CPR & Trauma Training — $60.00

4 Hour USCCA Course. Students should bring a Pen & Pencil and paper for note taking.

This class presents training in CPR for Adult, Child & Infant. Trauma Training for Gun Shot Wounds and Stabbing Wounds.

You will receive a USCCA Certificate upon successful completion of the class.

USCCA Countering The Mass Shooter Threat Class — $50.00

4 Hour USCCA Course. Students should bring a Pen & Pencil and paper for note taking.

Just like we train for other catastrophic events, we need to train for what to do in a mass shooting event. You will learn how following a comprehensive plan can increase your chance of survival. You will learn how victim response can make a difference.

You can end attacks early and minimize the number of victims in an incident with strategic planning and training.

·Learn the lifesaving measures you can take to save critically injured victims.

· How to properly develop an Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) for your home, business or church.

· Understand Your Attacker: Look at the history of mass shootings, what statistics tell us, and what your aggressor is likely thinking.
